Fire/EMS

The Village of North Fond du Lac's Fire Department, under the direction of a full-time Fire Chief, provides fire and EMS protection to the residents, businesses, and visitors in the Village of North Fond du Lac.

An active roster of 45 dedicated, paid-on-call firefighters attend two monthly trainings and seminars to stay current in advanced firefighting practices. The Fire Department participates in mutual-aid and automatic-aid to surrounding areas and supports the MABAS Alarm Box System. We maintain a paramedic ambulance that is always staffed as well as a secondary ambulance that is staffed throughout the week.

Our ambulance service is supported by and provides services to the Town of Friendship, Town of Eldorado, Van Dyne, Town of Lamartine,      Town of Fond du Lac and Village of North Fond du Lac. The ambulance serves a population of 11,547 that encompasses approximately 100 square miles.

The mission of the North Fond du Lac Fire Department is to respond in a timely manner and minimize loss of life, property and the environment from fires, natural disasters, life threatening situations, emergency medical needs and to assist other emergency agencies.
