MISSING PERSONS The North Fond du Lac Police Department will routinely post pictures and information regarding area missing persons on this page. We encourage individuals to look at this information and to immediately report any information pertaining to their whereabouts by calling 911. (No active missing persons reports at this time.) National missing persons information can be accessed at http://www.missingkids.com/ The incidence of missing and abducted children in the United States has grown to epidemic levels. According to a study released in 2002 (National Incidence Studies of Missing, Abducted, Runaway, and Thrownaway Children) there were an estimated 797,500 children reported as missing in the United States in 1999. We strongly encourage parents and others entrusted with the care of children to educate themselves, as well as their children, in protective behaviors. The police department will provide, at no cost, individuals or groups with education and training on child abduction prevention. Additionally, the department routinely provides fingerprinting and DNA collection clinics for area children several times each year. Persons interested in either of these potentially life saving programs, should contact Captain Darren Pautsch at 920-929-3760 or dpautsch@nfdl.org. Additional information regarding child safety and the prevention of abduction can be found at: http://www.missingkids.com/
