Fire Department


The Village of North Fond du Lac's Fire Department, under the direction of a Fire Chief, provides fire and EMS protection to the residents and businesses in North Fond du Lac. An active roster of 40 dedicated, paid-on-call firefighters attend two monthly trainings and seminars to stay current in advanced firefighting practices. The Village Fire Department participates in mutual aid to surrounding areas and supports the MABAS Alarm Box System. The Village maintains a 24/7 Paramedic ambulance. Our ambulance service is supported by and provides services to the Town of Friendship, Town of Eldorado, Van Dyne, Town of Lamartine, Town of Fond du Lac and North Fond du Lac. The ambulance serves a population of 11,330 and 93 square miles.

Mission Statement:

The mission of the North Fond du Lac Fire Department is to respond in a timely manner and minimize loss of life, property and the environment from fires, natural disasters, life threatening situations, emergency medical needs and to assist other emergency agencies.
