Effective January
1, 2004, the Village of North Fond du Lac Municipal Court changed its name
to Lakeside Municipal Court. The reason for changing the name was the
addition of more jurisdictions. The court is now handling citations
for the City of Fond du Lac, Town of Empire, Town of Ripon, Town of
Taycheedah, Village of Brandon, Village of Campbellsport, Village of
Fairwater, Village of North Fond du Lac, Village of Oakfield and the Village
of Rosendale.
Currently, the court receives $23 for each citation
processed through the system, generating a revenue source which helps to
offset village operations.
