Stephanie Neas and Ross Schwartz were recently awarded North Fond du Lac Police Benevolent Association scholarships for 2013. The scholarships are offered by the Police Benevolent Association annually to graduating seniors of North Fond du Lac High School.

Stephanie Neas is attending UW-Stout. Stephanie was selected for her volunteer services to the community as well as excellence achieved at school. Her contributions to the community include her involvement with Key Club, UNICEF, and the Salvation Army.

Ross Schwartz is attending UW-Madison. Ross was selected based on his volunteer services to the community as well as excellence achieved at school. His contributions to the community include Boys and Girls Club, Loaves & Fishes, The Salvation Army, Youth Football Camp, Sunday School Teacher, Mission Trips, and Operation Christmas.

Chief of Police Darren Pautsch said, "The North Fond du Lac Police Benevolent Association is proud to award these scholarships to Stephanie and Ross. We would like to congratulate and thank both of them for the positive impact they continue to make in our community."

On Friday, December 20, 2013, the North Fond du Lac Police Department/Police Benevolent Association concluded its annual Food for Families program by delivering gifts and other items to ten area families that the Department adopted this holiday season.  

Each year a number of area individuals, families, clubs, organizations, churches, schools, and businesses help make this program possible through their generous contributions. The Benevolent Association would like thank everyone who made this year another great success. Those that helped make this year’s program possible are:

This is the 27th year that the North Fond du Lac Police Department/Police Benevolent Association has been adopting families during the holiday season.

2014 Swimming Lessons

 

Swimming Lessons

Registration for the 2014 summer swimming lessons begins May 28th through May 31st   At the Village of North Fond du Lac Pool, 125 McKinley Street.

Registration forms will be available on the Village of North Fond du Lac website, at Village offices or at the Village pool at time of registration.

Registration will be     Tuesday May 27th        1pm3pm                 4pm6pm

Wednesday May 28th  1pm3pm

Thursday May 39th       1pm-3-pm                   4pm6pm

Friday  May 30th            1pm6pm

 There will be three sessions and they are as follows;

                                    Session I   -   June 16th - June 26th  
                                    Session II -   July 7th - July 17th  
                                    Session III -  July 28th  - August 7th

  • Resident (School District) Swimming Lesson: Each session $20.00 1st child,      $15.00 2nd child, $10.00 each additional child. With $75.00 maximum per family per session.
  • Non-Resident (School District) Swimming Lesson: $25.00 1st child, $20.00 2nd child, and $15.00 each additional child.
  • Parent and tot class: Daily walk in class $2.00 per  day
  • For families who qualify for financial assistance please contact the village offices  920-929-3765

All classes will be held Monday – Thursday. The classes do have a limit on the amount of participants, so please make sure you have a back-up time in mind just in case you do not get your first choice. The times for each class are as follows;

v  9:00-9:40      Levels 5 and 6

v  9:50-10:30    Levels 2, 3, and 4

v  10:40-11:20  Levels 1, 2 and 3

v  11:30-12:10  Levels 1, 2 and 4

v  12:10-12:30  Preschool – 3 to 5 students per instructor

v  12:10- 12:30 Parent and Tot class – Daily walk in class
